Elder Mandy Connelly is a powerful woman of God, who with grace, commitment, and passion, has served diligently in ministry since her childhood. Her life is dedicated to living by example and encouraging men and women how to live up to their full potential in Christ. She is a woman of strength in the face of adversity. She is an exquisite woman of God with much wisdom and knowledge.

     Elder Connelly was educated at Mid-Florida Technical Institute, where she received certificates of completion in Business Administration and Business Management. She also studied and completed nutrition courses. Elder Connelly held the position as Executive Chef and Banquet manager for several years at the respected Sheraton resort. Pastor Mandy Connelly also continued her education in Biblical studies receiving a certificate of completion for her Biblical studies of the Old and New Testament Scriptures; as well as, a credential in Christian Counseling.

        Prior to becoming a Pastor, Pastor Mandy Connelly served humbly as a secretary praise service leader, usher board president, vice president and later president of the missionary board, state president of the youth department, youth council president, vice president and many other offices. Pastor Connelly also worked side by side with her former Pastor as a pastor’s aide president. Pastor Connelly remained faithful and God later anointed her to pastorialship.

        After 28 years of preaching, Elder Connelly accepted the call of Jesus Christ to the Ministry of pastoring in 1995. The lord led her to Mathew 21:13 “It is written, my house shall be called The House of Prayer.” Elder Connelly then founded and pastored the House of Prayer Church of the Living God in May of 1995. She now holds the office of the Presiding Elder of the Florida Atlantic Diocese in the Church of the Living God. In May of 2015 she celebrated 20 years of pastoring at House of Prayer CLG; which brings her to a grand total of 48 years preaching and teaching the gospel!

     Pastor Connelly has been married to her husband Deacon Samuel Connelly Sr. for 52 years and they have 5 children together, Samuel, Samantha, Timothy, Kenneth, and Kesha.
